“And the word of God continued to increase, and the number of the disciples multiplied greatly in Jerusalem, and a great many of the priests became obedient to the faith.”
Acts 6:7
This past week we were spending lots of our time preparing the farm in order to host a VBS event for the kids in the mountains. We had the opportunity of going on house visits and inviting these kids to join us on Saturday the 26th. As we were meeting new families we had the goal of getting 200 kids to sign up for our event. But through the faithful hand of the Lord we ended up with a total of 350 kids signed up to come to the farm.
As we started final preparations and decorations on Saturday the kids started lining the gate hours before the event. But we soon realized that it was hundreds more than we were expecting. We had a total of 700 children and mothers show up on the farm, that we had the opportunity to minister to.
If you were to tell me three months ago I would have to sing, dance, and act in front of about 500 children (not including the teens) I would have back out of this trip.
That just testifies to the Lords beautiful hand at work. He calmed all my nerves and anxieties that day, so I was just free to be with the kids.
I have had such an amazing opportunity to see how the Lord has been working through the people of Catratcho Missions. It has been such an honor to get to know every soul giving their life so selflessly to God. I have learned so much through the way they live everyday.
As we prepare to leave Honduras I would greatly appreciate if you continued to support me through prayer. There are still a lot of unknowns about the upcoming months and I would appreciate if you took the time to cover my team in prayer through this season.
Some things to pray about for my squad:
-
Health for the entire team.
-
Safety as we travel this week.
-
Boldness in faith.
-
Team dynamics.
Thank you for reading this. It supports me more than you know. I could not be here without the people who have so selflessly prayed for me to get here, and for that I am blessed beyond measure.
