Hello, thank you for wanting to keep updated with the missions work I’ve been doing this past month!
29 days since I left the comfort of my bed to live in a tent, and the Lord has shown me his heart in ways I couldn’t imagine a month ago.
I’ve had the amazing opportunity to live on a farm up in mountains of Comayagua, Honduras. God has pushed me outside my comfort zone time and time again whether that be through the flooding of my tent, not being able to pet the dogs, or trying to comfortably fit 14 people in a truck bed.
Although it took me a while to adjust to this lifestyle, it has also shown me the Lord’s love in ways unimaginable.
One story I would love to share was from our kids ministry we do every Saturday. Here in Honduras they celebrate “kids day” on Sep 10th so that next Saturday was extra special for the children.
I got to spend some time preparing and cleaning a bouncy house for the kids. What I didn’t know what how important it was to them.
One of my ministry hosts, Andrew told me that some of the kids coming that day were walking 2-4 hours just to have a chance to see it.
To someone from the U.S. this bouncy house would be nothing more than average, something you might even have in your garage right now. But to these children it brought so much joy and I am so thankful to get to see the Lord’s love for his children through that day.
As I continue to spend the next two weeks in Honduras I would love to ask you to join me in prayer, that the Lord would continue to use me and my team to be the hands and feet of Jesus to the people of Honduras.
Thank you to anyone who has supported my journey thus far. Whether that be financially or in prayer it has been an honor to get to partner with you in this way.
